An original acrylic painting on canvas board by local Whangamata Area School Student - Keanu Heims.

Submitted as part of the NCEA Art Exhibition on Kings Birthday Weekend in Whangamata sponsored by The Little Gallery. Keanu studied impressionist artists and has created a stunning painting capturing this era beautifully.

Artists statement ...

"I’ve painted a nature painting with a bridge, a lake, trees, sky and flowers. I used an impressionist technique, with bright colours to enhance the painting and give it a dreamlike appearance."
