Artists Statement ...

"A painting I did of St. Francis of Assisi sharing a den with a wolf.

The painting shows how closely related the feet of a man are with those of the wolf, another challenging form of life. I researched in the Whitianga library for the footprints of a wolf and by painting these I have introduced the perspective of the earth. Visually."
