Still life print that playfully captures the actual contents of the artist’s bedside table top. The academic tone of a highly skillful demonstration of artistic ability both in composition and execution is humourously lightened by the careful depiction of the artist’s dental plate. As Smither says “My inclusion of the dental partial plate is realistic enough as it spent as much time out of my mouth as in.”
