Pauanui is a popular beach - and for good reason - this image was taken on a beautiful early March morning. The cloud cover that was present on this March morning, makes for a dramatic sunrise and the reflection from the clouds causes a beautiful mix of yellows, oranges, peaches, purples and blues. I love the contrast of colours here, they are so different to mid and later-day colours that are mostly associated with seascapes.
