Jess Ziegler - JZ Ceramic

Jess / JZ Ceramic is a Te-Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington based potter who started her pottery journey with a simple desire to make art for her own home. Early on, she found endless inspiration in the vast and colourful world of beetles and has been making them for the past two years. As the beetles kept coming, Jess became known in her local community studio for her vibrant bug creations. Each beetle is hand-sculpted and the glaze is all hand painted, making each beetle completely original. Recently Jess has been enjoying experimenting with different patterns and colour combinations.
