Jennifer Panther is a contemporary New Zealand artist based in the beautiful coastal town of Tairua in the Coromandel. Working predominantly in acrylic on canvas, Jennifer also enjoys exploring watercolour and oil painting as part of her evolving artistic journey. Inspired by the ocean, coastal life, and the unique charm of New Zealand’s seaside communities, her artwork captures the beauty and character of everyday scenes with warmth and realism.

Coming from a family of artists, creativity has always been part of Jennifer’s life. After moving to Tairua full-time, she embraced painting as both a passion and a creative outlet, quickly developing a distinctive style grounded in realism and fine detail. Jennifer is particularly drawn to painting the sea and boats — especially weathered vessels with personality and history — bringing each subject to life through texture, light, and colour.

Her growing collection of original artworks includes seascapes, boats, wharfs, coastal houses, florals, and landscapes, all inspired by the natural beauty of the Coromandel and New Zealand coastline. Jennifer is passionate about continually learning new painting techniques and enjoys experimenting with different subjects and mediums to expand her creative practice.
