SOLD - The Migrants

The Migrants print was triggered by a talk I attended given by an expert on migratory birds last year. He had attached a tracking device to a Godwit at Miranda and tracked it to Alaska and back. The return journey took 8 days during which the bird covered 11,000 km. An amazing feat. I realised at that time that only birds were able to migrate to distant countries. Humans were stuck! So this is my 2020 print. The bird shapes are not godwits but representative of all migratory birds.

 It is printed on hand made Fabriano paper 500mm x 700mm. Image size 370mm x 420mm.
