Do you represent New Zealand artists?

At The Little Gallery we are proud to support our local artists and are pleased to say all of our artists consider New Zealand home. Many of our artists are based right here in the Coromandel and several volunteer their time and support to run the gallery, so you have the opportunity to meet them when making a visit! See our Artists page to learn more about each individual artist.

Can I purchase artwork online?

All artwork listed on our website under our Artists and Artwork pages is available for sale unless otherwise specified, however due to the nature of our gallery we do not offer an online shopping service. You can purchase artwork by visiting our galleries in person, or contact us to arrange an alternative shipping and payment method.

Do you offer a shipping service?

We can ship artwork anywhere in New Zealand as well as internationally. Shipping costs are in addition to the artwork and will vary depending on the size, weight and value of the artwork. Contact us if you have a shipping enquiry and we will be more than happy to assist you.

Do you run any workshops or events?

We regularly host events at the gallery throughout the year, from exhibition openings to art demonstrations and artist talks. These are a great opportunity to meet some of our artists and see the new artwork available in the gallery! Check out our Events page to see upcoming events. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay in the loop with what’s going on at The Little Gallery.

Can I commission an artwork through The Little Gallery?

At The Little Gallery we understand the importance of finding the perfect piece of artwork for your space, which is why we offer a commissioning service! Most of our artists are more than happy to accept commissions, which enable you to take home a piece that balances your needs with the artist's unique vision. For an in-depth guide to commissioning artwork through The Little Gallery, read here.

Do you offer laybuys?

Yes, we offer a laybuy service. We require a 20% deposit and fulfilment over a six week period. Contact us to make an arrangement for a laybuy plan.

How can I show my artwork in your gallery?

If you are interested in displaying your artwork in The Little Gallery, we would love to hear from you! As we are based in Tairua and Whangamata, we focus on exhibiting work by artists who have a significant connection with the Coromandel but we do also support artists from around New Zealand. Send us a little bit about yourself along with some images of your work and we will be in touch.
