'What do you Sea?', is an ocean project art event and exhibition by up and coming artist Christina McGrath.
In her new exhibition “What do you SEA?” Christina explores the deep sense and interpretation of the sea and it's connection with the flow of life. This body of work depicts peace, adventure, curiosity and the pure love of the ocean.
An avid traveller, Christina has surfed all over the world which has and continues to inspire her artwork and passion for these vast waters.
“Each of these pieces are created from my personal experience of living with the ocean. The mixed mediums evoke an element of power and wonder. I love working with the movement of fluid acrylics. The flow of the paint across the canvas determines the shapes and conveys a richness and depth of the sea creating uniqueness in every piece.”
Christina lives in Tairua, New Zealand where she integrates her love of nature and the ocean into her ocean retreats, yoga, and wellbeing and creativity workshops.
